Selectiv-SolderingThe ELS 4.0 is designed as the optimum platform for soldering in in-line processes as well as on a stand-alone basis. When changing towards selective soldering, usually only very few wave-soldering is left as this mostly can be executed by the selective soldering platform then. Thus, the cost-intensive operation of a line-wave soldering system becomes redundant. Furthermore, axis-controlled wave soldering will set new standards in production.
The quick-change-nozzle system is the integral component whereby the soldering-height-control automatically adjusts to the nozzle. If several nozzles are used simultaneously, then they can also be controlled individually by the program. This enables an individually adjusted soldering process. Using 2-3 flexible mini-wave-soldering units and offering the possibility to include a 300mm solid shaft, the ESL 4.0 offers a maximum of flexibility that is demanded for production today. This holds especially for lead-free soldering.
